Step 6 · Compliance & data sovereignty

A DPoP that handles personal and behavioral data must be compliant with the patchwork of regimes the paper highlights: LGPD in Brazil, GDPR in the EU, the U.S. CLOUD Act for cross-border requests, the EU Data Act (2024) for IoT-generated data sharing, the EU AI Act (2024) for the risk classification of any ML model that touches driver behaviour or labour conditions, plus the privacy-preserving compute primitives that let you collaborate without exposing raw data.
